PSD in fcp
I have a layered PSD file I’ve imported into FCP and I want it to open with all the layers on each Track of video.
For some reason it won’t open that way. I’ve got a setting or something wrong. What to do?

double click it on the timeline and another timeline
will open with the layers. -
I’m having the same problem. Are you using Photoshop CS3?
I’ve searched through all relevant settings in FCP and CS3 and I still have no idea why it wont work. We never had this issue with CS2. Hopefully someone helps us out soon…

I solved my problem this morning. Hopefully it will help you out. FCP does not accept 16bit video OR .psd files. I changed all of my .psd to 8bit, reconnected in FCP and they work just like we want them to.
