Hi all. I am having a problem when importing PSD file into after effects. I have a menu that is missing, that is the editable layer styles.
First, I import> Composition – Retail Layer Sizes, and thats it.

No pop up menu like this
Only getting a flat image, no layers. Thanks in advance!

Your PSD might be in CYMK which isn’t working in After Effects. Have your .psd in RGB and it’ll work like a charm 🙂

    Cheers
    Luc.

THANK YOU! It works!! Sorry to trouble you with another question. How do i keep them in order? It is a logo that i have separated in parts, I would like them to be in their usual positions.

You’ll have to re-organize them yourself. Keep in mind that if you played with any FXs / Layers styles in photoshop, they won’t be in After Effects..
