nope, layers should still open as normal. they do here on our Intel box.

Were the PS files made on a PC? Or are they in 12-bit per channel?

make sure you are looking in the nest created by the .psd and not on the sequence you dropped it into.

I’ve had this problem too. It seems to happen when the .psd is created on a PC. If I open the image in photoshop on the Intel Mac, then do nothing but re-save it, I get access to the layers again?

There must be a better solution than this though.
