How can I embed or nest one PSD with all it’s layers and relationships intact, into another PSD?

I’m specifically not interested in any type of flattening.

    Thanks!

One way is to put all your layers into a set and duplicate the layer set into the other document.

Tile open windows open for both your document.
In CS2 highlight all the layers you want to copy, then drag your layer thumbnail.
In CS1 link all the layers you wish to copy.
In CS1 click and hold on a pixel on your canvas.
Then add shift and drop this onto the canvas of your new document. (Shift centers everything)

you can just drag and drop into the other and all the layers and effects will follow. sometimes you can drag them all at once, or you may have to drag thrm one by one. so just pull one off the bar so they are kinda side by side
