  PS crashing on large PSB on one system. works on others

  I’ve got a large PSB file (7gb) that when opened on my workstation crashes PS as soon as the image/layers are displayed. Issue occurs with both PS 2017 and 2015.3 on the same system.

  I was able to open the file on a friends macbook pro and save it down to 2.2gb. Opening this new file on the problem system has the same outcome. Opening it on my Surface Pro and it works. Clearly it is a machine-specific issue.

  Is there a cache or settings that need to be reset/erased which may resolve this?
