    hi there,

i got the following problem with settings my proxys:

I got my original big jpg file and i save this smaller as a psd file.
Then i set the proxy in afer effects. works fine. The quality is less but beside that it shows the same.(size….)

    but:

if i work with this file before in psd, and if i save that one in different layers the same procedure is not working. I got the file ,after setting the proxy , shown more big, even if the proxy ,of course, is smaller.???
    Any suggestions?

    thanx

If you are changing the relative layer positions/ dimensions, it affects the pixel sizes stored in the PSD file. You need to crop your images to the actual canvas size to maintain the original dimensions.

    Hi Mylenium

sorry but i didn’t geht the point….I mean i cut my original foto in layers and then i store it as a big and a small file…So i thought i did not change the “relative layer positons” . What do you mean by saying “crop image to actual canvas size”? You speak about doing that in ae? D0 you work like this, psd in layers , setting proxys?

    thanx for your support
