  • proxy editing and HDV batch capture problem

Hi – i set up an HDV project (cs3) and imported file in dv capture from my SONY HDRFX1E in order to edit as proxies. After finishing the edit i started to offline the files and batch capture in using HDV capture settings. All looked good at a brief glance until i reviewed and saw that most if not all the hdv captures were either out of sync with the audio or several frames off visually. Therefore my edit is completely off – includes end of takes etc, etc.

Is there any way to rectify this? Any help much appreciated.

OK – done a bit more investigating. Set up a dv project and captured some dv footage. Did some edits on the timeline ( not the program window ) then exported this section, imported it and placed above the edited section on the timeline( so i could use as a comparison ). I then right clicked the captured footage in the project panel – make offline, media files deleted. Then right clicked the captured footage in the project panel – batch capture and captured the footage again. When i compared the footage in the timeline against the saved export the edits were out of sync.

Not sure if this is at all clear an explanation but heres hoping.
    Many thanks in advance.

I’m having a similar problem syncing footage from my JVC GY HD200 with premiere. It’s not capturing the clips consistently with batch capture (in/out points).
