Proxies link to wrong file
Hi – First time using Proxy Ingest, and I’ve made a mess somehow. Several small issues, one big one.
-Some files are linked to completely different clips, with different file numbers. So when I toggle Proxy off, I realize a completely different clip is linked. Proxy: flowers against sky. Original: Students walk on campus… Both clips have different original file numbers. wtf?-Only some proxies linked. Each time I attach proxies, I have to direct PrP to the folder where they are, rather than where they are Prp thinks they are supposed to be. They did not automatically link, and many remain offline, only to be discovered when I cut with them.
Any ideas? Working in PrP CC 2015.3 on a mac.

figured out the main problem: there are several clips that have duplicate file numbers. How best to handle? Rename all the offending clips, thus un-matching them to copies with the client? or move them to a different drive so premiere can distinguish? Any other ideas?
