I am using Sony Vegas 9.0a. I have created a title using the ProType Titler. Then I did a control drag to make 7 copies in the timeline. I moved those copies to the end of my project and edited them for the outro. Then I saved it and continued to work on other portions of the project. That seemed to work fine for a day and a half of editing. Then suddenly I noticed that all the text has defaulted back to the intro (original) text. This has happened several times. I’m a novice. Please help.
    Thanks,
    Sandra

Within about one week, Sony will present update 9.0b for Vegas. This update should resolve problems with generated media. Hopefully that will also solve your problem.

That has been a big bug discovered in 9a. Should hopefully be corrected in 9b. It actually is not in 9.0 so if you still have it you could go back and do the project in there.

Thanks a bunch. I thought I was doing something wrong. I ended up creating one title at a time as a separate project and rendering it out as an avi file. Then I imported the rendered media into the original project and put it in the timeline. Not the greatest workflow, but at least it didn’t disappear or turn into 8 copies of identical text. So far so good…
