  • ProType Titler – 2 questions

Posted by Larry Brewer on April 18, 2011 at 8:53 pm

    First question.

How can I change the color of the background in the ProType Titler workspace? I have been creating titles with a BLACK font and they are impossible to see during the creation process. I would like it to be gray.

    Next question.

I started a project with 480 x 720 widescreen properties. Later in the editing I changed the project properties to HD 1080 x 1920. At this point all the titles I created in the 480 x 720 mode are now soft, low res and do not match the titles I created after I change the project properties to HD. How can I update the earlier titles to 1080 x 1920 with out having to re-type everything?

    Thanks in advance!

You have to click off of any text by clicking on the background area. Then you should see left area change to Preview Properties and on the Preview tab you can change the Background color.

Select all of the titles that you want to change and go to Tools | Scripting | Resize Generated Media and they will all get resized to match the project.
