*I posted over in the audio professionals forum also… but looking for the quickest answer.

    Good day everyone,
I have a new VO talent that was trying to set up a HOME STUDIO. I believe that she has the M-box with I assume Pro Tools LE Software (6.9 maybe since she bought it a week ago???). She lives in another city & can’t figure out how to export me an AIFF file. I don’t have the software/hardware she purchased so could someone break it down for me. She said that she opened her session & has the track(s) ready to go; she needs to know now how to get me an acceptable file via email. So if anyone also has any good settings for the audio export I’d appreciate that also. TIA

First, make sure the audio you want is in solo mode on that track. (If its the only track then don’t worry about that.)

Second go to the file menu and select the bounce to disk option.

In the dialog box that pops up, make sure you select AIFF mono (summed) and whatever sample rate you desire-most likely 48k- and click ok

Then it will ask you where to save the file and what to name it. I recommend the desktop in order to make the file easy to find.

Then attach it to the email.

If you have any questions drop me an email.
