April 9, 2013 at 6:58 pmYou were successful using the Cinec encoder? I tried to install v1.8.7 on Windows XP and it will not launch….”encountered a problem and need to close”

April 9, 2013 at 7:09 pmI tested on Windows 7.
I don’t see much tech documentation beyond Windows XP, Vista, 7 compatibility.
Are you on SP3?
Have you done your usual Windows updates?
What fail message are you getting? -

April 9, 2013 at 9:46 pmThere’s almost no information on their site to report issues.
It’s sounds like there’s a fundamental conflict with some OS component.
