ProResLT Capture off tape?
Is ProResLT only an option for log and transfer? I am looking to capture CanonHV30 footage as LT, but don’t see that option. Thanks for any help!

You need an HD capture card/IO Box and FCP 7. AJA, Matrox and blackmagic is your answer.

Capturing from deck over FW at ProRes422
using Compressor to transcode to LT
Deleting original ProRes422 file
Reconnecting to new LT file?
