If I want to just install the Pro Res codec on my new MacBook Pro, where do I put it so Media100 can see it and use it?

    Aloha Tom,

It goes in the Library folder, in the Quicktime folder.

Thanks, I figured that out but it still didn’t work for some odd reason. Then I downloaded a free trial of FCP-X and it started working. Go figure.
    Mahalo and Aloha,

I think that happened because the codec automatically comes with FCP. However, I don’t have FCP, just Media 100 and when I want to choose a codec for a project I get ProRes 422 HQ offered along with many many more. Maybe the people who install stuff for me put it in.
