I had a pretty good workflow using Pixlet, but it plays back with a blue tint since quicktime 7.4 or something. I am doing web video with shake compositing. Here’s how I am working:
    -Shoot/capture in DVCPRO50
    -Export MOV in same codec
    -composite MOV in shake
-render shake comp to ProRes MOV
-Import and place on FCP timeline of ProRes Seq
-export MOV in same codec as Seq
    -compress to FLV in squeeze

FLV files come out darker than the original comp. I notice that when the playhead in FCP is stopped, it looks dark like the export, but when playing it, the brightness looks correct. If I use None or Animation, it looks fine but filesizes are huge and don’t like to playback in realtime. Pixlet was working fine for this until the blue playback problem. I’ve tried adjusting the Seq settings for the different rendering options but that does nothing. What could be the problem here?

BTW, the blue playback thing in Pixlet is just in FCP. If I play the MOV in the quicktime player, it’s not blue.
