    Hi
I am finishing a programme edited in ProRes, that needs to played out onto DVC Pro HD. Is ok to leave the sequence as ProRes to edit to tape, or do i need to alter the settings to DVC Pro HD and change the size/pixel aspect etc?

    thanks
    nick

    Hi Nick,
If you are printing through FW you will need to play a proper DVCProHD sequence.
If is through an IO card, the desk would take care of the new geometry.

The BM will put 1920×1080 10b Unc through the the SDI or components.
The VTR has a video IN to convert that to the size and codec of the format.
