    ProRes through standard-def Io?

    I had a pleasant surprise yesterday. I was able to play a ProRes(HQ) 720×486 sequence out via Firewire to a Sony DVCAM deck.

    Are there any issues with the standard def Io playing ProRes through any of its outputs?

    The io will play out any SD codec that FCP officially supports in it’s rt engine.
