    ProRes QT with 4 audio tracks

    Hi all,

    Just a quick one….my client has changed delivery and now wants a ProRes Quicktime with the final stereo mix on 1&2 and the M&E on 3&4.

    Have not done this before on avid and need to get it done rather soon.

    I’m running Media Composer 7.3 on a MacPro.

    Have you selected “direct out” on audio for export?

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    It’s only giving me that option if I select same as source but I have to give them a prores file.

    If on a Mac, then do a mixdown to ProRes, then export SaS with the direct out for audio.

    Hi,

    Yes did all that…but then it started throwing up error messages. Had to get it done so did it in FCP…nice and easy.
