Activity Forums Adobe Premiere Pro ProRes in CS4?

    Yes – though not in real time.
    I find it’s better to convert ProRes in Media Encoder to something else – like P2 DvcProHD.

    I just edited a rather long timeline made of ProRes 720p on a laptop (PC-WXP) with a USB drive…

    It wasn’t quite RT, and when any effects were used, it slowed up…but I’d guess it’s strictly a matter of how much muscle your system has…

    I was still surprised how smoothly it went considering I had neither a Mac or a fast harddrive system.
