Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem.

We have some ProRes HQ footage (SD PAL 25fps) that we’re bringing into After Effects. If we place the footage on a comp with the usual PAL setup the footage starts to develop jagged stepping – exactly as if we’d thrown a deinterlace filter on the footage and thrown away a field. I thought it would be an interlace problem, but AE seems to be interpreting the field order correctly. (choosing upper)

The same ProRes clip plays flawlessly in FCP.

    Any Ideas?
