Quick question, i am editing on-site various videos running a mac pro dual 3ghz with 4gb of ram and a kona 3 card. up until yesterday i had a sata array to capture all of my media to, the raid died so in a pinch i went and purchased 2 750 sata drives and threw them in the mac pro and stripped them. My question is, will my new internal stripped array handle pro res playback? my sata array did it no problem but i just want to make sure the new internal array will handle the playback. Any ideas?

    It should handle it, yes.

In the future run the Disk Read/Write test in the AJA system test app that came with your drivers.
