    Hi there,

lately i had some serious problems concerning import/export from adobe after effects rendered video files to final cut pro. Sometimes they appeared too dark, sometimes to bright. I already read a lot of stuff about those problems and now doing some field testing with a standard HD testchart.

I exported the testchart in 5 different formats from an fcp hdv timeline (because my actual project concerns hdv footage).
Animation, Uncompressed, TGA seq, hdv, prores hq 422.

Everything worked fine when I imported the videos to AFX, but the ProRes HQ 422 footage had changed color values as I soon recognized.
To countercheck, I loaded the chart into an empty afx comp, and rendered a ProRes HQ422 video directly from after effects. Then, I re-imported this video and – Surprise!
This one looked nearly exactly like the original test chart, the colors were absolutely identical!

So what the **** is Final Cut Pro doing with my video if I render with Prores? This is totaly unacceptable!
