Can somebody give me a little more insight if apple prores 422 non HQ is 8 bit or 10 bit? Reason I ask is that I have media on a timeline in final cut 7 and if i select my viewer to be aja kona 3 1920×1080 29.97 10 bit, clips that need rendering will appear on my monitor as only bright green and purple colors, i then will render and its fine, when i switch my viewer to be aja kona 3 1920×1080 29.97 8 bit i never get this weird green and purple color issue, all media looks good even when not rendered. Anybody ever see this before? I just got me questioning if apple pro res 422 non HQ is actually 8 bit. Thanks for your time.
