ProRes 4444 output not available in AE CS4
I dont seem to have the option of choosing ProRes 4444 in output module settings in CS4 (only 422)? Don’t quote me but I’m sure it use to be there!
Am I missing something?Thanks

Do you have FCP7 installed on your computer?
ProRes 422 was included in FCP6, and ProRes 4444 was added with FCP7.

Apple recently added this codec-pack download for ProApps to their site:
https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1396It doesn’t actually say that it includes all the different flavours of ProRes, but it would be a bit odd if it didn’t. And while it’s recommended for ProApp users, it doesn’t seem to be limited to them, so nothing to stop you installing the ProRes coded for AE without using FCP by the look of it.
