Proper upgrade Vegas 8 to 10 Full
Hello
Don’t want to muck things up so I thought I’d ask a question before upgrading. I have vegas 8 studio Platinum installed on my PC and works fine.
I have purchased a Full (not upgrade) version Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite 10 (Box).
Should I leave version 8 and install 10, or would you recommend I first uninstall version 8 first.
As well I have a cineform codec? that was needed back when I installed 8, is this still needed?

You can safely have both installed and I would encourage it just in case something doesn’t work correctly with an old Movie Studio 8 project you will have the old version to go back to. I always have several version of Vegas Pro and Vegas Movie Studio on my PC with no problems at all.
