  • Proper graphic cards for Premiere pro?

    Hi,

I’m looking for a laptop for adobe premiere pro and all adobe CC.
    Probably going PC.

    I thought of a gaming PC with 16 or 32 G ram

Graphic cards are often GTX 1060 6gig.

Are the gamimg graphics cards like those GTX 1060, 1070, 1080 any good for video editing or are they congigured for gaming only?
Powerful but are they fit for editing?

Is there a perfect card for Premiere that you would suggest?

    Intel Iris?
    Nvidia?
    GTX Titan?

    thank you

    Hugue

    Good afternoon.

For editing at home I bought an ASUS ROG GR8 gaming PC. Even though its small, it packs a Nvidia 1060, 32gigs of Ram and a duel quad core processor.

With a 500 gig SS drive and a GLYPH raid stack, this thing is lightning fast. Great audio and video quality.

    Good luck.

    Eric

I’m sure you’ll get a variety of good recommendations here and the Adobe Hardware Forum is also a great resource for computer setup recommendations.
