    Hey Guys,

Just wanted to know what would be the fastest exporting setting to use from my macbook. This is what I currently have: (mind im not vert tech savy)

    Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,1
    Processor Name: Intel Core i7
    Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per core): 256 KB
    L3 Cache: 4 MB
    Memory: 4 GB
    Processor Interconnect Speed: 4.8 GT/s
    Boot ROM Version: MBP61.0057.B0C
    SMC Version (system): 1.57f17

On hardware both Intel HD graphics and NVIDIA Geforce GT330M show up though i think it is running the NVIDIA.

How should i export for the fastest time? I am shooting in 1080p at 24fps on a canon hf g10.

You’ll have to give more information. Are you exporting a master copy for long term storage, a DVD, a blu-ray, a YouTube copy, a Vimeo copy, an offline file, etc.

There are so many different ways to export a project, the fastest way depends on where you’re going to put the file. The fastest settings to export a DVD won’t help you at all if you’re trying to make a file to post on YouTube.

A good starting point are the presets already included in PPro. Those give you a pretty good guide for any given format – DVD, Blu-ray, YouTube, etc.
