    Hi everyone,

I am in the process of batch capturing some HDCAM tapes the originated from 29.97 DVCAM offline clips. I have gone through a process of converting EDLs of sequences at 29.97 to new EDLs at 23.98. I have successfully brought them into an HD project and relinked my new media. However there is one problem — all the clips still have a motion adapter on them. Maybe I’m just being ignorant here — but is there any way to automate the steps of PROMOTING and then REMOVING effects on every clip in a sequence? I don’t want to have to do this manually to every single clip, but I have to PROMOTE the clip before I lasso and remove them all at once.

My apologies for the hasty post! I seem to have answered my own question. Right click sequence > UPDATE EFFECTS. New sequence created > lasso all clips > remove effect. At least this is the solution to anyone else out there wondering…my apologies!
