Absolutely Stig. And, Flame and Assimilate Scratch and others as well.
Here are some quotes from Cow Leader Shane Ross who demoed the ProMAX ONE with me last week:
[shane ross] ” System: Windows 7 Professional® 64-Bit
Professional Media Software Supported: AVID MC 5.5+, Adobe Premiere CS5.5+, Assimilate
SCRATCH or SCRATCH LAB, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, CatDV, Telestream, Root6David showed this to me last week. I was quite impressed…. Avid MC6 and PPro CS5.5 (As well as Scratch, but since I don’t know that, I didn’t play with that). Avid chewed thru the RED footage. And as I am often to note, Avid MC is faster and smoother on a PC..for some reason.
Feel free to contact me if you want to know more… 🙂

April 7, 2012 at 7:59 pmHi, when running Avid Mojo DX, a couple of graphic cards, Red Rocket, Decklink, Raid and some other neccessary things that need more slots than 5 – is there any solution for this? I also know some that are waiting for the new processor before they decide what solution to go for.

April 7, 2012 at 8:34 pmSomething has to go. Wait until Monday Stig when I have access to both a machine and those who built it, and I’ll tell you precisely what the config is currently. Thanks for asking.

Hi Stig,
The solution at this point in time when installing all of the cards you’ve mentioned above is to use one of the Cubix expansion chassis at the following link: https://www.cubix.com/content/gpu-xpander-0.
Let me know if you have any additional questions, and thanks for your interest.

April 9, 2012 at 7:57 pmOk, thank you. The need of Cubux is the reason I want to ditch Mac Pro. Guess this means I will go for a PC.
