I have had a problem that has shown up off and on when switching from working on my laptop to my iMac. Projects open with a black screen in the interface and the software does not allow me to do anything but move the mouse around.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

This is what the screen looks like.

    1. import project into another sequence
    2. try disabling h.264 acceleration in prefs-media
    3. set projects-renderer to software
    3. delete all media cache
    4. make sure you have same video codecs installed
    5. purge plugin cache/preferences by restarting and holding down (Mac, press Shift+Option) ( PC, press Shift+Alt. )

    Thanks for the tips Chris.

I have been able to work around this with success by importing the project file into a new project but I am just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue or if anyone else knows what could be causing this to occur.
