If you have the patience for one more time look at this. This is the latest look at vegas screen. I suppose the screen that displays the trimmer is hidden somewhere. I can open the project preview of course but that hides the trimmer time line. Anyway please take a look. I liked your screen as it shows exactly what I need. If this doesn’t work I will go back to editing in the project time line

It’s not hidden anywhere.
The Trimmer timeline and the Trimmer window are the same thing and can’t be separated like you want/expect them to be.

How do you get a picture in this answer?

1. Click the Image Upload icon;
2. Browse to the image and click “Open”;
3. Click “upload image”;
4. Click the image name in the top right corner;
5. Click and copy the information in the “Embed” box on the left;
6. Click the “x” next to the image name (I’m not sure this step is necessary but I do it anyway);
7. Close the window;
8. Paste the link into your message;
9. Post the message.
