  • Project settings change each time I launch an existing project

This may sound like a basic question, but I have a few projects that I’m working on in FCP, and each time I switch from one to the other, (HD to SD) all my sequence and project settings need to be switched back to the previous project settings. Isn’t there a way to save the project, along with all it’s settings? Is there a bug in my system?

Thanks, I just wanted to be sure I wasn’t missing something obvious.

Well, you have missed Preference Manager from https://www.digitalrebellion.com. This free app allows you to save sets of preferences by project, by project format, etc., etc., etc. It makes up nicely where FCP is sore lacking in this particular area.
