Project Media – use count
Posted by Roger Bansemer on December 27, 2011 at 4:03 pmIn the project media, is there a way to pinpoint where on the timeline those events are when there are more than one “use count” events listed. Or even one “use count” for that matter.
It would be handy since I think I may have duplicated a few short events during the project which I don’t want to be seen more than once.Phil Seymour replied 14 years, 7 months ago 4 Members · 12 Replies -

December 27, 2011 at 4:55 pmIn the Project Media Pane there is a Use Count column. There is also a Search on option that will give you the amount of Use Counts searches. Once you’ve done that you can save to another BIN. Very useful.

December 27, 2011 at 5:03 pmEdit Details (View -Edit Details) is another option.
Using this will tell you exactly where on the timeline any duplicates are. -

December 27, 2011 at 5:46 pmIf you Right click within the Folder Tree View you can set up a Boolean Search for Count Greater than 1 or 2 or n where n is your appearance value.

December 27, 2011 at 6:24 pmProject manager lets me know how many times I’ve used an event so which is good but I want to be able to pinpoint where those events appear on the timeline without visually scrubbing an entire project.

Try this “GO TO” script and check out the others too:-
It’s an Extension, and needs to activated through Extensions.

December 29, 2011 at 11:38 amMike… as an aside question, are you aware of any way to remove or add columns in one sitting in the List mode for Project Media? The only way I can find to do it is call up the settings screen, click or un-click a column name – the dialogue box then closes – then I must open up the settings screen again etc. etc. Damn annoying.
