I have a 2-minute promo that includes multi-clipped C300 footage and DSLR b-roll. Audio was recorded into the C300, but has been replaced with WAV files for dialogue and music.

Now that the project is done I would like to media manage it, but the Project Manager never gets past the Conform Audio stage. I tried deleting the audio from the timeline but it still sits forever on the conforming window.

Any ideas how to get the project media managed? I know there are limitations with MXF, but I don’t think it shouldn’t be hanging up like this. Thanks for your time!

Hi Jesse. I’m currently having the same problem in Premiere, but the audio is just MP3’s! I’m not sure, but I think this might be a bug in Premiere Pro CC?

Let me know if you find a solution & i’ll do the same!

    Cheers.

    Hi Harry,

Hmm, I’m not sure why it’s doing it with MP3s. I ended up exporting the audio in timeline as a WAV and replacing the original MXF audio with it. Maybe try doing that?

Media management with MXF footage is a bit of a hassle, I’ve found. Hopefully Adobe and others will figure out a good way to do it, but for now I’ll probably just transcode my footage to ProRes.
