    I composed a graphic for a print job ending up in a rather large (150mb) file. It is for a four color 24×18″ poster. 300 dpi

    Everything looked fine when I saved. After opening this back up in PS, the entire image looked pixellated (jagged edges).

    I saved in a pdf format as well resulting in the same thing when I opened it back up.

    What might be happening here?

    make sure you have your anti-aliasing on. This will help.
