    Hey guys!

If anyone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

The “Filter Bin Content” field in Premiere Pro isn’t working in the Project window. I’ve added “_STAR” in the name field of a series of sequences in order to allow easy searching, but it’s not filtering anything according to that word. The only time it seems to pull up a sequence with that word in the name is whenever that sequence has been recently edited–or if the word has recently been added to the name. I can type in the field, it just doesn’t produce results. I’ve even specifically searched/filtered the full name of a sequence, and it hasn’t yielded results.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Why will Premiere not filter the content according to a search?

I see this thread was started in 2017, but you replied in Feb. Did you get your problem figured out?

I know that some of the content bin filter issues have been fixed in recent updates, but I’m up-to-date on 2019, yet I’m having an issue. It use to be that if I log clips in the metadata that anything with the key word, such as “pool” for example, would come up if I search for that in the Filter Content Bin. But it’s not doing that. It will only filter what’s in the name of the clip.
