    Hey COWS

It has been a stressful day for business as usual cutting

Working with FCP6. Throughout the day today I have needed to force quit, restart my MACBookPro and eject my LACIE external drive. I must mention my 500gb drive is in the under 200gb range.

Now after trying to open my FCP project I am getting the message: Project File Can Not Open

I have never got these messages before, nor have I dealt with as many bumps I have today. PLEASE any and all help, suggestions greatly appreciated.

    James,
that project file may be corrupt.
Have you tried a different project file, from the Autosave Vault?
(Copy it to your desktop and try to open it.) If it doesn’t open, keep doing this procedure, working your way back through time. (The latest backup, the second latest, the third latest, etc.)
My experience has been, that you will get back to an openable version.

    Hope that helps.
    Neil.

Also try trashing prefs and repairing permissions.
