Project file “recovery” need help
I have a project started in Premiere Pro 1.5. I recently changed over to Premiere 2.0 and never saved off copies of the project. Somehow the file became corrupt and I can no longer open it in PP 1.5 or 2.0.
Does anyone know of any way of recovering corrupt project files in PPro
and none of the “auto saves” project files work either -

Create a new project and try importing the corrupted project into the new one.

I did that and each time i get a error message that says this file is corrupt and can not be opened damaged and…
Is there any software that analyze projects to fix problems I mean this is a professional editing program there has to be some kind of back door for problems like this

Unfortunately, no. Unless, you open the project file in a text editor, which I wouldn’t reccomend.
