yep, I learned that the hard way some years ago.

Everything gets zipped or stuffed before sending.

Wow, the Hex Edit suggestion above just totally saved my A$$ with a FCP Project that had been uploaded to an FTP months ago, and inadvertently deleted EVERYWHERE ELSE.
