Ok, here is my problem, I’m working on a feature and editing it. We shot on 16mm. And recorded on a Deva, which gave us .bfw which works fine, the tapes were captured at 23.98 but seem to work fine on the time line.

I created a slew of marks on the original captures so I could use subclips to retain the 24 bit audio for the sound guys. I then exported the audio via AIFF, 24 bit 48hz and imported it back into the project, then I merged the clips, adjusted the timeline, everything is great so far.

Merged Clips, Subclips all synced, ready to be edited. Then “DRUM ROLL” the problem. I use my media manager to copy the project to an external raid, open the newly copied ones, and the merged clips just go all to #@$@. The merged clip will be there but the Audio will squished up from the video at back and the clip becomes very long???? Does anyone know what’s going on?

    THanks.

I found that during the media manager transfer, the duration of the clips change. I am sure this is the problem. Any thoughts?

    Thanks all,
    Jeremiah
