Project deleted
I have a problem, My project file was deleted by someone. I worked really hard on it and I tried to recover it but to no avail. IS there any way to recover my project with the sequences and render files that I have? The entire movie was shot behind a bluescreen and every scene was rendered. Let me know if there’s any way to do this, thanks for your time.

First thing to look for is to see if you have a copy in the autosave vault.
If not, you’ll be looking for a good data rescue software.

I couldn’t find them. Why were there no copies in my autosave and what kind of recovery software can I use?

Assuming that you have some sort of regular back up strategy in place, simply go back to your last backup. You do make regular backups, don’t you?

Have you tried doing a search of .fcp projects on all drives? Depending on how your Final Cut was setup your autosaves might be in another location….
Have you tried going to the project scratch disk folder to see if you can rescue some of the media?

try a data recovery software like data rescue II. You can even download a trial version,
scan your hard drive and then if you see the missing files, then you can purchase the
