Project corrupt error_slide.jpg
I have a project in FCP 5.0.4 that has somehow become corrupt. When I open the porject I get an error that it cannot find the file “error_slide.jpg”. It gives me the option to cancel or search. Either way I am stuck and end up having to force quit FCP to get out. I can open other projects just fine. I have gone through all of the autosave version of this project and all of them have the same error. I have gone through all the media involved with the project and it will open and play in QT. Has anyone seen this error and know a way to fix it.

hmmm… i would create a new jpg, name it “error_slide.jpg” and see what happens.

Did that and it did not work. I have also tried throwing away the prefs. Did not help.
