  • Project conversion to .flv – no widescreen…something’s changed?!

    Hi there,

I recently began exporting my CS3 projects directly to .flv. When I first started to do this, they uploaded to my web player and played happily as widescreen (with a black letterbox).

I’ve no idea what’s changed, but now, once they’re exported as any kind of flv preset, they upload to my web player in 3:4 format.

The only way the player seems to want to play them in widescreen is if I export from my project as an avi and then convert to flv in Allok. An ideas? It’s driving me mad!

Export using square pixels and increase the horizontal resolution to get your 16:9 ratio.

    Cheers

    Hi there,
I can see that’s great if I export to wmv, but the option for pixels disappears when I try to convert to flv…have I missed something?
