    Hello,

Do CRT monitors show footage from a DVD in interlaced if you’ve burned it at that setting?
OR is it better to go Progresive right from the word go – I see alot of mixed responses about whether to shoot progressive or interlaced depending on the final product.
I prefer the progressive look but Im still not sure how it impacts if the final DVD will be viewed on a CRT monitor.

    Any guidance would be great.
    Thanks
    Duane

If you like the look of progressive shoot prog and keep it that way throughout the entire process. Ever DVD can interlace the footage for CRT tvs.

You can always go from prog to interlaced but you cannot go from interlace to prog without losing quality.
