progressive slow motion with time remapping.
hi! I use AE7 and i need to aplicate a progressive slow motion using the time remapping option. What i want to do is a slow motion from 100% to 30% and then to 30% to 100%. I need to hear the sound, so i can’t use retimer or twixtor. Anyone have any idea about how do it? Would help me a lots if i couls see the graph editor, but i don’t know how to show it at AE7…

Umm, it’s one big fat button at the top of the timeline window. Not sure if it needs to blink to be seen by you *g*. I’m also not sure what you mean by not being able to use ReTimer or Twixtor – for all intents and purposes you should never ever stretch sound in AE. Prepare the audio externally in apps that can really handle this without entirely screwing the pitch and volume., then import that distorted file in AE for reference. So with that out of the way, it’s pretty much just a matter of taste how you proceed from there.

Actually since Twixtor V4, if you simply drop your movie in comp1 with sound and set twixtor to 100% speed then drop comp1 in comp2, and apply time remapping to comp1 layer in comp2, Twixtor will change the speed and AE will change the pitch so your sound will be retimed as well if you like.
