progressive screengrabs to uncompressed interlaced SD
Hello!
Any help with this little problem would be much appreciated
I’ve captured some screengrabs from the internet with iShowU into Apple Animation 1920×1080 at 24p (as I didn’t want this program to interlace or scale anything).
I’ve then imported these into an uncompressed PAL SD (FHA) Motion project in order to pan and zoom around it.
Then I rendered these out as uncompressed PAL SD quicktime files (upper field dominant) and dropped into an uncompressed PAL SD anamorphic (upper field dominant) timeline. However! When I play these back on my PAL SD SDI broadcast monitor (an old grade 1 CRT) I still get a bit of flicker on the pans and zooms. I realise this might be the thin lines on the website rippling over the interlacing but am I missing anything else?
Dropping in the .motn files into the FCP timeline and rendering produces the same thing. Have I missed a checkbox somewhere? Should I be using compressor?
Any thoughts/questions would be really useful.
Thanks!
