Progressive Playback Artifacting
Sometimes I get a strange type of frame interpolation artifacting on playback of progressive video files. It shows up in different places on each playback and completely disappears when playing in full screen. It seems like the previous frame and the current frame get sliced and partially displayed. I’m wondering if anyone knows why this happens and how to avoid it. I’ve included a mock screen capture to show what I’m talking about.
