  • Progressive Download Quicktime w/ Adobe Media Encoder

I am encoding numerous Quicktime Videos for the web through Adobe Media Encoder in Premiere 2.0, however I am having difficulty figuring out how to make these videos play as “progressive downloads” or “fast-start” videos that start playing before the video is finished downloading completely. I have unchecked ‘Streaming Video’ and checked ‘Auto-Start’, however all my videos are waiting to download completely before the video starts to play. Any idea how to make my quicktimes be progressive download? Thanks.

Buy Quicktime Pro ($30.) and export original movie with Quick Start enabled.

I worded this poorly. Open your Quicktime movie (made in Premiere) in QT Pro; then export (in QT Pro) with quick start enabled.

So you have to encode twice? I have to save my movie your saying at highest quality (takes a while) and then encode that in QT Pro?
