Progress window missing
Hi Guys,
I am using MC8 8.3.1 on a mac 10.10.4 Yosemite.
I recently upgraded the software and am now not getting a progress bar when I render an effect or import clips.For example when I export something, I get no bar to see how long it takes, or that is even exporting, I just wait, then the software starts working again and the export is done.
Does anyine have an idea of what this is?

10.10.4 is not approved for any version of Avid yet…so you could be seeing some sort of bug as a result.
That being said, I have 10.10.4 running with Avid 8.4 on my home system and not seeing this bug,
For quick troubleshooting, Try making a new workspace layout or new user setting and take it from there

I’m having the same issue! Just started a new show and when exporting I can’t see the exporting window at all but i can’t access avid, so it is exporting. It’s annoying to not see the progress bar though and be able to manage my time! Any solutions to this would be greatly appreciated!

Just fixed it by right clicking avid in the dock once the export had finished and selecting show all windows. This seemed to somehow make it show all windows the next time I exported! Woohoo!
