program window problem
Posted by Larry Schutte on March 24, 2014 at 9:15 pmMy program window suddenly lost all the picture except some blocks at the top. I’m running PP 5.5 with the latest version of QuickTime and my Nvidia drivers are up to date as are the Windows updates. Please refer to jpeg attached of the workspace. Thanks! Larry

You might have accidentally turned off your composite video and are only showing title safe/grids?

March 24, 2014 at 9:42 pmTo me it looks like you either cropped the picture or moved it up using the Motion tool.

March 24, 2014 at 9:43 pmCould be something to do with the AVI. Do you know what type of file the AVI is a container for? Maybe convert the source footage to something CS5 likes a bit more.

March 24, 2014 at 9:53 pmI’m using Cineform to convert avchd files from my Canon HD-10 to avi files. It’s worked fine until now.

March 24, 2014 at 10:02 pmI can see the full image when I scrub across the timeline or when it’s in pause, but not when it’s in run mode.

March 24, 2014 at 10:39 pmI’d try to reset the workspace…it looks like the UI is confused to me.
